Instructional Technology
The Instructional Technology department plays a crucial role in implementation of systemic instructional technology initiatives to enhance teaching and learning.
The department works directly with stakeholder groups, including: supervisors, content specialists, early learning and intervention, classroom teachers, related services, the community, and the Information Technology department to:
- Guarantee technology and digital tool implementation is aligned to curriculum
- Determine accessibility and compliance of digital tools
- Make certain that digital tools support pedagogical goals
- Review privacy and security standards for digital tools
- Ensure compatibility with existing systems for efficiency
- Communicate with vendors for reliable and accessible solutions
Within the department, The certified EdTech Coaches utilize the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards to support teaching and learning.
