About Us
The William Brish Planetarium opened in 1969 and is named in honor of Dr. William M. Brish, a former Superintendent of Washington County Public Schools (1947-1973). The Planetarium was created as part of his legacy of educational innovation and is operated by Washington County Public Schools to serve students and the public with astronomy and STEM related programs.
The William Brish Planetarium is a fully digital, 64-seat planetarium. All programs are digital full-dome presentations that immerse you in astronomy, earth science, biology and more as never before utilizing the Spitz Sci-Dome XD-S full-dome digital system.
