To keep pace with rising food prices, WCPS had to adjust student meal prices this school year. Students will be charged the following:
- Breakfast: $1.85
- Lunch:
- Elementary $2.85
- Secondary $3.10
Families are encouraged to complete a Free & Reduced Meal (FARM) application to see if their student(s) may qualify for free or reduced meals. Students who received FARM during the 2025–2026 school year must complete a new FARM application and have it approved prior to October 6, 2026, in order to continue receiving meal benefits this school year.

**Linq charges $2.60 for each credit card payment made up to $65.83. For larger payments they charge a fee of 3.95%. For ACH payments directly from your bank account, a fee of $0.99 will apply.
Beginning September 1, 2026, WCPS’ online payment vendor, LINQ, will assess WCPS a $25 fee for each returned electronic/ACH payment. A payment may be returned by a financial institution for reasons such as insufficient funds, a closed account, a stop payment, or incorrect account information.
Effective September 1, 2026, WCPS will pass through this $25 returned payment fee when an electronic/ACH payment for a student meal account is returned. The fee will be applied to the student meal account associated with the returned payment.
Refunds / transfer / donation
Funds added to student meal accounts remain active annually and transition with the student across various WCPS buildings. Parents and guardians may request a balance refund whenever they choose. Upon a student's departure from the school system via graduation or transfer, refund applications must be submitted within five business days following the final day of classes for that academic year. Beyond this timeframe, WCPS will allocate any residual balances as donations to support students experiencing financial hardships, and these funds will belong to the district.
Students graduating or leaving WCPS may transfer balances in LINQ to another student account, donate remaining funds, or request a full refund by completing this form.
Special Diets
If your child has dietary restrictions or food allergies, please complete the Medical Form for Students with Special Dietary Needs. The form should be returned to your child’s School Health Room.
